Dokurcun - Davlumbaz Plateau - Haydarlar - Dedeler

Dokurcun Village is the starting point of our neighbourhood tour in the Akyazı district of Sakarya province. Natural beauties such as çiğdem Plateau, Sülüklü Lake and Sarıgöl are among the frequent destinations of visitors who come from İstanbul for a day. It is located to the west of Sülüklü Lake. Although most the attention is focussed upon Sülüklü Lake, the Davlumbaz Plateau is one of the most beautiful places in Sakarya. In this uniquely beautiful plateau, called the Davlumbaz (Hood) by the locals, there is drinking water in almost every part of the plateau, funded by the contributions of the local people. Built on a wide and flat area surrounded by forests, Davlumbaz Plateau offers a lush, green and peaceful environment.
