Covered by the sea from the south and by the forests from the north, Dalaman is a district where green dominates all other colors except blue. The route in this natural district isn't so long but has a lot of climbing and descending. Although the last 12-13 kilometers are flat, the first part is very hilly. Get ready your legs!

    A mountain bike route around Dalaman River, which is 229 km long, flows into the sea by drawing the eastern boundaries of Ortaca. It creates the border between Aegean and the Mediterranean. The route starts from Ortaca district center, continues on the old and new stream bed of Dalaman River, follows the sea until Sarıgerme Beach.

      The route draws a circle around Lake Köyceğiz. The highest altitude we reach will be about 190 meters. Lake Köyceğiz is an old Mediterranean bay. The alluvions that these steams have carried over the years have turned this old bay into a lake. The route also passes through the Ancient City of Kaunos. This ancient city is the oldest settlement in the region.

        Ortaca is a natural wonder district, at the east of the Dalyan River, which connects Lake Köyceğiz to the Mediterranean. Our first route in Ortaca is not too challenging. It starts near the Dalyan River, heads most south, the beaches and Lake Sülüngür, come back! You've the opportunity of change your way and go İztuzu Beach, Kargıcak and Aşı Bays.

          We're going to pass around rock tombs in the Ancient City of Kaunos and around the other rock tombs of the region! There are about 150 rock tombs in the ancient city. Fifteen of these tombs built in the form of a temple, in the Ionian order, entirely carved on the large rocks. You'll climb non-stop 27th and 30th kilometers. The rest of the road has a flat profile!

            A route between the sweetgum (liquidambar) trees! The sweetgum tree can only live in a few regions on the Earth: America, Chine, and fortunately, in southwest Anatolia. The first half of the route passes through in the sweetgum forests. Some passages are just like a "jungle"! Toparlar Waterfall, at the north of the course, is an ideal point for cooling off in the summer months.

              Yuvarlakçay is a secret location that will make you doubt you're on earth. It's an icy stream on Topgözü Canyon, between Köyceğiz and Ortaca districts. The route won't push you too hard. In total, you'll gain an altitude of 302 meters. On the hottest days of summer, you've to go there, cool off in icy water, eat something in the restaurant known for its fresh trout!

                Dalaman district center, climbing, descending, Mediterranean coasts, Göcek, climbing again, descending again, and Dalaman again! For 50 kilometers, We'll move from the slopes and foots of the mountains, which separate Dalaman and Göcek. The first quarter and the other some parts pass through asphalt, the rest through forest and mountain roads.

                Climbing, descending, climbing again, and descending again. It's hard to find a flat route on this route. But the slopes are not too challenging. The starting point is close to the northern coasts of a virgin lake of Ortaca: Lake Sülüngür. You'll continue on the earth roads, situated on the slopes of Kösten Mountain.

                Mount Nuribaba is one of the region's hilly mountains. The first 10 kilometers has a flat profile. But then, the climb starts. You'll gain an altitude of about 850 meters within 13 kilometers and arrive at the peak of Mount Nuribaba. After stocking up the oxygen, you can follow the route you've already finished. It won't be hard to go back by descending a lot.

                Nomadic ("Yörük" in Turkish) Culture takes an important place in the Central and Western Taurus Region. The root of the word "Yörük" comes from the verb "walking" ("Yürümek" in Turkish). It means "nomad." The route is passing through the way used by Western Taurus nomads. While passing, it gains an altitude of about 1900 meters in total.

                The mountains of Dalaman is covered with greenery and spread over a wide area! The first resting point of the route is in Kayadibi Village hosts Octapolis ruins and rock tombs. The ending point, Gürleyik Village, is a rafting center. It's the longest of the MTB routes in Dalaman. And it's probably the toughest one. We'll gain a total altitude of 1,138 meters in 54 km.

                We're between the Aegean Sea and Lake Köyceğiz! The route doesn't pass through the top of Mount ölemez. However, when you arrive in the middle of the way, you can go to the top by turning left from the "K3-8" sign. After three kilometers, you will reach the top of the mountain, which is more than 900 meters high.

                Sandras is spectacular, high, subject to legends mountain, also known as Mount çiçekbaba. The mount's peak at an altitude of 2,295 meters high, black pine tree-covered in summers and autumns. Mount Sandras, a frequent destination for winter sports and trekking lovers, is the perfect mountain biking paths. The route is 84 km long; you'll gain an altitude of 1993 meters!
