Nation's Garden - Akyazı

Traffic is heavy in parts of the city. It calms down when you turn from the E-5 to the direction of Alancuma. It passes through the villages on a two-lane road that goes back and forth and continues until Akyazı. In this section, the road progresses through short slopes and winding greenery. There are minimarts and fountais markets as you pass along the fountains and through the villages. When you arrive in Akyazı, you will find restaurants, gas stations and markets. Our tour starts from the heavenly National Garden in the city and takes bicycle lovers to Akyazı, the second largest city of Sakarya in terms of population. A route that will not strain the legs too much. In this way, you can spend time both enjoying the road and the historical and natural beauties of Akyazı. On the route, the main tree species of beech, hornbeam, poplar, chestnut, linden, plane tree, maple and oak will shade you throughout the ride. The livelihood of the people living in Akyazı is based on agriculture. This means that you should not leave Akyazı, one of the oldest districts of Sakarya, without tasting local delicacies. Among the products produced in the district are primarily corn, wheat, beets, potatoes and various vegetables, and fruit growing to a certain extent. Of the smaller holdings that can be visited in the forest villages, which are the most enjoyable parts of your drive, you will find the production of wild strawberries along with beekeeping and silkworm breeding. Due to the cracks in the earth that lies beneath the waters, energy emerges from deep in the ground to provide an inexhaustible source of heat and thermodynamic energy through the hot springs. The Kuzuluk region, with its thermal springs and where these travertines are common, is among the destinations to be visited in Akyazı.
