Karapınar - Katırözü Plateau - Soğucak Plateau

Our tour starts from Karapınar, a neighbourhood of Adapazarı. Then we head to Katırözü Plateau. It is among the destinations where nature lovers go in summer and winter with its magnificent nature and vegetation. Katırözü is one of the most beautiful plateaus to be seen. With its magnificent climate you will almost want to abandon yourself to the domination of nature. Another route starts from the Alifuatpaşa neighbourhood, which is located within the borders of Geyve district and boasts a bridge built with large cut stones over the Sakarya River. Alifuatpaşa Bridge, which bears the same name as the neighbourhood, was designed and built by Mimar Abdullah, a student of Mimar Sinan. Alifuatpaşa Bridge, which was built with 14 piles, has survived to the present day thanks to the iron melted with lead; the stones are connected to each other with Khorasan mortar made of cut stone.
