Erikli Plateau

A natural wonder in the çınarcık district of Yalova, in the south of the Marmara Sea, near Teşvikiye Village: Erikli Highland. The finest feature of Erikli Highland's hiking routes is that the roads surprise you with waterfalls when you least expect them. You can come across waterfalls at any time while walking under the shade of chestnut, elm, apple, fir, and linden trees. You can cool off in small lakes formed by waterfalls. In addition, the çınarcık beaches, which are only a few kilometers away, are a terrific way to cool off in the summer. As Erikli Highland receives a lot of snow during the winter months, it is preferable to visit it during other seasons. There are also camping areas surrounded by clean natural waters where you can camp on the highland. It is possible to reach the region with a two-hour journey from İstanbul.
