Hittite Way

The Hittites is a civilization that lived in Anatolia in the Bronze Age. They founded a state centred on today's province of çorum in the 16 th century BCE, and by the middle of the 14 th century BCE, it had grown into a superpower. This state, which had existed for nearly five centuries, left behind dozens of tangible and intangible artifacts. This area, where the Hittites lived, was included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List with the name "The Capital of the Hittites: Hattusa". çorum Governorship established walking trails that pass through this cultural heritage in 2011. These trails pass through the old migration and trade routes. The total length of 17 different routes, including alternative trails, is 380 kilometers, with signs and direction signs placed in accordance with international standards.
