Nation's Garden - Acelle Plateau

Except for the inner city, the traffic situation is a quiet route. After turning right on the D100 highway from the Adapazarı exit, it is a road with hills and valleys passing through the villages. For short breaks, you will find village coffee shops here and there. There are also a few fountains on the way. As you pass through the nearby villages, you can detour to Akyazı. Akyazı centre offers different "refueling" options such as restaurants and markets. After Akyazı comes the part where the slopes begin. There is a long climb up to Acelle Plateau. It is a difficult training track; a total of 1700 meters of elevation awaits. An indispensable route for road cyclists who are fascinated with climbing. A tough training ride that will test both your legs and your lungs. Therefore, it is useful to fill your fuel up at the beginning of the day. There are two kiosks and a traditional tent in the regional style (Kıl çadırı) offering goods and services in the National Garden. The inside of the haircloth tent is shaped with cedars, and you can enjoy the natural beauty of the countryside in while you snack on tea, coffee, delicious kumpir (baked potato), gözleme (pancakes) and a warming cup of tarhana (tomato soup). The first kilometres of the ride are comfortable, but with the 30th kilometre, the difficult geography makes itself felt. But the higher you go, the more beautiful the view becomes. The road will take you to the natural wonders of Acelle Plateau, but be patient and keep pedalling, because the most beautiful part is yet to come. The road, which winds through the broad and coniferous trees, merges with the dwarf trees of rhododendron and boxwood. From the middle of the plateau, Enişte Stream stands out. If you have an accommodation plan in this location, you can camp comfortably. Although autumn is popular for the plateau camp, the summer and the winter of Acelle Plateau are beautiful. Due to its geography, Acelle Plateau offers its guests a peaceful environment at any time of the year.
